Yes it does! This is one of our most convenient features. We recommend using our bed-corner straps (included with the topper) to hold it in place.
The Smart Topper works with all breathable sheets. We recommend a tight-fitting cotton, bamboo or linen with lower thread count. Try breathing through the sheets and if it is easy then it will work! We don't recommend using mattress protectors over the Smart Topper or it will hinder the airflow.
The manual controller is embedded in the side of the Smart Topper and is designed to be used by touch through your fitted sheet.
Dual zone Smart Toppers have controllers on both sides, left and right. They are used by touch through your fitted sheet.
"Twin XL-Left" is the only single zone Smart Topper with the manual controller on the left hand side. You can view a diagram in the size selection section on our Shop page.
The Smart Topper can be used manually without any app or network connections, but functions best when set up using the free app.

Not at all! Our Perfectly Snug Smart Toppers are ambient neutral. There is no decrease or increase of humidity in your bedroom, no risk of condensation, and no external machine that will make your room hot.
Nope! Aside from the simple cord and plug that hide behind the head of your bed, the Smart Topper is entirely self-contained. No hoses, no machines on your floor.

The Smart Topper cools you down and warms you up a minimum of -10 or +10 degrees of skin temperature. (Based on average human skin temperature.)
The Smart Topper is nearly silent when cooling at a low level. At 50% cooling it’s like the quiet whoosh from a home furnace. At full cooling, it sounds similar to a stand-alone fan running in the room.
The level of cooling selected will determine how loud the fans will run. There is a fan limiter setting in the app for sensitive sleepers.
Yes! We designed the Smart Topper to be perfectly medium firm. You may experience it as firmer at first, so give it time! A transition period is perfectly normal and will pass. You and your body are learning your new sleep habitat. You'll be glad you did!

The Smart Topper is powered by low voltage DC power from a power brick that plugs into any standard wall outlet. The power supply will work in any country.
Yes! The cover of the Smart Topper can be spot cleaned, and this is the simplest way to care for it. The cover can also be fully removed for washing.
