App OS Minimum Requirements 🌙

  •     Apple iOS 13 (iPhone 6S, 6S Plus or SE or later)
  •     Android 6.0.1 or later
  •     You must disable "Private Relay for iCloud" for the app to work if you have an iPhone. This setting is found in your iCloud user ID account settings and is often enabled without users being aware. It is similar to a VPN in functionality.

WiFi Network Compatibility 🌙

  •     The Smart Topper is compatible with 2.4 GHz WiFi networks but not 5 GHz. Dual band routers are fine.
  •     VPNs are known to interfere with connectivity. Disabling your VPN may be required to connect.
  •     Please ensure your home network is configured as a "home network" and not a "guest network." Guest networks may block connection.

Installing & Updating the App 🌙

Visit the Apple App Store or Google Play Store and search for "Perfectly Snug". [Note: Do not select our previous app which is called "Perfectly Snug Controller."] Select the App and touch Install.

Occasionally, there may be updates. If your device doesn't automatically update apps, feel free to periodically check for updates in your app store.

Connection Troubleshooting Steps 🌙

1)   Make sure both sides of the Smart Topper are switched on. The power switch is located on the manual controller near where your pillow rests.

2)   Carefully check all cable connections on both ends (at the Smart Topper and the power blocks) and ensure they're very firmly pushed in. A green light should appear on both sides of the power blocks.

3)   Switch on both sides of the Smart Topper. Listen for the “welcome” message. Press and hold the cooling button for 5 seconds on each side until you hear “cold burst” and the fans start. If either side is silent or the fans fail to turn on, contact customer service (link below).

4)   Open your phone’s WiFi settings. You should see two Smart Topper networks (one ends in "_L"). Ensure auto-reconnect is not enabled. Tap each network and choose “Forget” if possible.

5)    Completely close (swipe up) and then re-open the app, and follow the steps to reconnect. Make sure you have your WiFi password ready — navigating away from the app during setup can prevent connection.
